Aalapana Movie Story: Bhanupriya’s husband runs a dance bar and wants her to dance there. She is a devoted dancer and wishes to integrate all 6 forms of Indian dance and form her own dance style. She runs away with her friend. At Aruku Valley they hear some musical notes and get down impulsively. Somayajulu and his family take these girls in. It turns out that their adopted son Mohan has a penchant for singing. Bhanupriya starts working there and the singer and the dancer get close. She also restarts her dancing. The husband returns suddenly to put her plans in danger. Bhanupriya has the biggest eyes anyone has seen. She was responsible for a spate of movies on dance and music. I was in school when these movies were released and the music was a rage. This movie too has some really different tunes. Shot in picturesque Aruku valley, it’s a must-watch for the entire family.
